NFL Wide Receiver Antonio Brown has announced his retirement from the league, saying he will no longer not turn up to play.
“The days of this dog refusing to report for practice and failing to suit up for critical games are over.”
Dropped by the Patriots over troubling allegations, Brown said he is no longer prepared to sign for NFL franchises only to orchestrate his exit days or hours later.
“The NFL can no longer count on my absense on the field.”
Asked what he plans to do now – if he can get through his present problems – Brown said he is considering a career in music.
“I plan to sign with multiple labels and produce absolutely no music whatsoever for them.”
