The Avian flu virus, also known as the bird flu virus, has been detected in a poultry flock within the United States according to Federal officials.
They assure the public they were working together with the farm in question to contain the virus using all necessary means.
However reports are coming in that the highly pathogenic agent has already decided to self-limit its replication and destructive viral action out of pity.
“I feel so guilty about infecting these chickens because they already have it so bad.”
Being used to infecting poultry that are allowed to roam free in south east Asia, the RNA strand was shocked and appalled to see chickens packed into an enclosed space and practically swimming in their own defecate.
“I’m not sure even I can survive in all this filth and I’m a virus.”
