After a tough grilling by Senators and a subsequent failure to appear before a House committee, Attorney General Bill Barr said today he would not be able to answer any more questions until he had more instructions.

“There’s a rather complicated chain of command at work here in case you didn’t realize.”

Explaining the delay, Barr said it requires Russian President Vladimir Putin to be briefed on recent developments, then for him to brief President Trump on the appropriate course of action, and Trump to then brief him.

“That’s not something that’s going to happen overnight, given everything else President Putin has to deal with.”

Barr promised that as soon has he knew the answers he was to give, they would be forthcoming.

“There won’t be any extra delay due to the DOJ agonizing over the legality of it, I swear.”
