Saying they were still experiencing a few teething problems, officials in charge of the Iowa Democratic caucus said they were confident they would get the results out in time for them to be meaningful in the Presidential election.
“Now that would be the 2024 election just to be clear.”
With little to no prospect of them getting them out any earlier, they say the easiest thing at this point is to consider this an extremely early causus for the next election four years from now.
“You’ll all still be running, right?”
They added that should there be any further unforeseen problems, they may have to slide things back further still.
“We can definitely promise you no later than the 2028 election… maybe.”
