The Trump Administration has had its first personnel loss with National Security Advisor General Michael Flynn having handed in his resignation.
As usual, these resignations are a cover story for a more abrupt reason for termination and this case is no different. The General reportedly resigned after having being summoned back to Russia for active duty by Vladimir Putin.
Press Secretary Sean Spicer snapped when reporters pressed him on the question of whether General Flynn – born Mikhail Filenkov was – Russian.
“Of course he’s Russian. Who ever said he wasn’t Russian?”
Spicer got even angrier when the press pool implied there was something wrong with that, when Trump was only doing exactly what he promised he’d do all along.
“President Trump said he would find people from outside Washington and he did. 10,000 miles outside.”
