A CNN interview of a government worker who voted for Trump in the 2016 election and now feels betrayed by the President has gone viral.

Though there were some cruel instances of schadenfreude directed at him on social media, the man says he is getting support from people who say they understand the feeling of being betrayed by Trump.

“The outpouring of understanding from billions of people has been amazing.”

He says he is touched by the many notes of sympathy he has received from ex-wives, casino workers, NATO, apartments seekers of color, contractors, the European Union, former “University” students, and planet Earth, to name but a few.

“It’s good to know I’m not alone in this.”
