With the candidates still waiting to hear the results, organizers of the Democratic Iowa caucus say they’ve made a decision to make the whole thing best out of three.

“We’re going to get everyone to come out on two further evenings to mill around aimlessly for hours and then average the results over all three caucuses.”

They said that way any errors will hopefully average out over the three poorly run events.

“All anyone wants is to get a vaguely fair result out of this somehow.”

President Trump was unusually reticent in his criticism on twitter.

“Normally I’d have a crude insult ready but this is too pathetic to attack even for me. Sad!”
