Embattled conservative TV and radio host Laura Ingraham has seen the error of her ways and issued a heartfelt apology over her recent actions.
“On reflection, in the spirit of Holy Week, I apologize for any upset or hurt my tweet caused those who are simply trying to make the world a better place by providing goods and services.”
Worst of all, says Ingraham, she used her powerful national presence to pick on young advertisers who were just starting out in life.
“Even if I do not personally care for what they are selling, that is not an excuse for me to mock them for failing to break into new markets on their first try.”
She commended those she had hurt for their excellent sales figures, and invited them back on her show anytime they wish.
“In the end, this is not about me but the advertisers who represent the future.”
