Neighbors Recall Charlottesville Suspect As Quiet Unassuming White Supremacist

The arrest of James Alex Fields Jr, accused of killing one and injuring many more in Charlottesville, has come as a great surprise to neighbors in Ohio, who today recalled the gentle neo-Nazi they thought they knew.

“It’s like behind all the right wing hatred and racism he was living a double life.”

Described as a ‘bit of a history buff’, he was well known for his enthusiasm and, most of all, his endless generosity.

“He was the kind of guy who’d say ‘I’ll pick you up on the way’ if you couldn’t get to a Trump rally because your car broke down.”

They simply don’t recognize the man who carried out those horrific actions on Saturday afternoon.

“It’s so shocking to hear he killed someone who was white.”
