Amazon has announced its expansion into the field of obstetrics, and says it intends to become a one-stop-shop for those giving birth.

CEO Jeff Bezos said the new service, called Prime Baby, should be up and running in time for Christmas.

“We already deliver everything else, so this felt right.”

For a flat fee Amazon will ship you everything you need to bring your newborn into the world, including a board-certified obstetrician. Once your baby is delivered, you simply return everything using the prepaid container.

“Just be sure not to put tape over the breathing holes.”

The best deal is available to existing Prime Members, who can have their first baby delivered for free, and thereafter for $99.99.
