Pence’s Removal From House Chamber Delayed By Lack Of Forklift

(U.S. Capitol Building) Vice-President Mike Pence is still in the House Chamber today, long after the State Of The Union address ended. Staff said this was due to him becoming even more rigid than usual during the course of the speech.

“We got him in there using a hand-dolly, but extracting him will require us to lift him straight up and out.”

Unfortunately a forklift was not immediately available, and they are currently working on locating one that will fit though the doorways to gain access to the House floor.

“Or we could just hold on until he relaxes a little, but Mother warned us that could be a long wait.”
