Peter Doocy Treated For Third-Degree Burns Following Blistering Attack In White House Briefing Room

MEDICAL BRIEF: Staff at the Burn Center at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital said tonight they expected Fox News White House correspondent for Peter Doocy to survive after receiving severe burns at a briefing earlier today. However they stressed this was in no way a suggestion that his medical condition was not extremely serious on arrival.

“These were very deep burns indeed. Frankly he’s lucky to be alive.”

This is not the first time Doocy has required such treatment, as he has been a regular visitor to the burn center since the beginning of the year.

“We’re starting to wonder if he has some kind of underlying mental disorder as he just keeps getting burned – almost like he wants it to happen.”

Another theory is that he might be unable to feel the terrible pain that would normally be associated with this type of injury, which would cause most people to shrivel up and hide in a corner.

“Some individuals are actually unable to feel the pain of the burns they have personally received and carry on as normal as if it never happened. Peter might just be one of those.”
