As temperatures plunge again with more precipitation on the way, City Government has finally taken the step that many have been urging for years.
“The resolution to ban snow within City Limits is adopted.”
The move is proving wildly popular, even earning Mayor Peduto support from those normally opposed to his progressive agenda.
“Finally a Peduto initiative I can get behind!”
Peduto clarified via twitter that the resolution was not about buying more snow ploughs or salting roads more frequently, but not letting snow anywhere near Pittsburgh in the first place.
“We’re sick of it, we don’t want it here, so we’ve decided to just get rid of it.”
