Police Cover Philly Street Poles With Flypaper Glue To Catch Unruly Eagles Fans

Saying there’s no point greasing them because Philly fans always find a way to climb them anyway, Philadelphia police are instead coating all city street poles with a highly sticky glue used in flypaper.

“This way once a few of them get stuck, there won’t be room for any more climbers.”

Police plans to arrest everyone caught by the street pole traps and charge them with disrupting the peace tomorrow.

“We’ve told them about it in advance to deter them. But they’re going to climb them anyway. They’re Eagles fans, so of course they will.”

They warn they will not be held responsible for any Eagles fans who die from exposure because they forget to retrieve them.

“There are a lot of street poles to cover so we may forget a few. Or maybe a lot.”
