Poll Reveals Most Americans In Favor Of Not Starting This Government Up Again

Following a failure to pass a budget vote in the Senate, a government shutdown is in effect as of 12.01am this Saturday the 20th of January.

Though this normally results in intense public pressure to get things going again, polls indicate that most Americans believe this government shutting down may actually be a good thing.

“When a crappy old car grinds to a halt, sometimes it’s better not to sink any more into it.”

Instead, they are in favor of switching over to a Government that is less prone to breaking down.

“Canada has one that never seems to stop working so we’d prefer to use that.”

Though the shutdown affects non-essential federal agencies and workers, an overwhelming majority thinks Congress should go ahead and stop working as well to facilitate a quick transition to an all-Canuck administration.

“And President Trump should stop too, though I’m not sure how we’d know the difference”
