Preschooler Comes To Paul Ryan’s Defense “$1.50 Per Week Is Like Lots And Lots And Lots”

Paul Ryan is facing a huge backlash on social media after tweeting that a woman who received a $1.50 increase in her weekly pay was evidence the tax cuts were working.

Ryan deleted the tweet after it became apparent it highlighted how little working people were getting while the top 1% who funded him get huge tax relief as part of the plan.

But Ryan is not alone in thinking a pay raise of $1.50 per week is significant, as four-year-old Samuel Ryan (no relation) quickly came to the Republican’s defense.

“I get a quarter every time I pick up my toys so that’s like… um… five pickups. No six – I meant six.”

Samuel recommends the women not throw away her newfound earnings but put them somewhere safe instead in case she ever wants to save up to buy a really big bag of gummy bears.

“May I recommend the Bank of Mom.”
