Fears that Donald Trump is the childlike capricious fool described in Michael Wolff’s book “Fire and Fury” were quelled by the President himself today on his twitter account:
“I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star to President of the United States (on my first try). I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius….and a very stable genius at that!”
Those who had concerns they were being led by an infantile moron with the world’s largest nuclear arsenal at his fingertips say this is all the reassurance they needed.
“Thank God he’s a stable person not prone to rash gestures or behaving insecurely like I thought he was before this tweet. As for him being a genius too, well that’s the icing on the cake!”
Trump also reminded people that, unlike Richard Nixon, he won the Oval Office on his very first try.
“And when he was only sixty-nine and a quarter years old! I will sleep soundly tonight.”

I’m smart! Not like everybody says, like dumb. I’m smart and I want respect!”
That reassures me just as much as all the other lies he tells.
