Critics of President Trump are having to eat crow as he has proved their charges wrong just a week after accusations he was not interested enough in overseas hate crimes were leveled.
“They said he didn’t want to get involved in foreign shooting sprees motivated by racial hatred, but that’s not what we are seeing today.”
Asked whether he thought the shootings by a suspected Turkish-born man in the Netherlands were part of a rising threat, Trump replied ‘absolutely’.
“So much for his supposed reluctance to identify rising threats!”
Trump added that he thought a thorough clampdown on anyone who bore a resemblance to the suspect was warranted, unless they were talking about the white guy in New Zealand, who was obviously just mentally ill.
“I see no reason for us to comment further on a matter that concerns their healthcare system.”
