Despite saying it would be his last time hosting, comedian Ricky Gervais has indicated he would be prepared to host the Golden Globes awards gala again, but on one condition.

“I get to take a massive dump on the heads of any celebrities I want.”

Gervais insisted that was not a euphemism for tearing into them from the podium.

“No – I actually want to shit on their heads next time. We’ll need a crane of some kind I imagine.”

Gervais did not indicate whom he wanted to plant a steaming turd on but did give a few hints.

“Everyone seems to enjoy Tom Hanks’s reaction to my comedy.”

Joaquin Phoenix has already indicated his support for the idea.

“Anything to keep it real. Just stay off the curry the night before please, Ricky.”
