Following the revelation on 60 Minutes that President Trump has a fantasy political painting by Andy Thomas of himself with other Republican presidents hanging in the White House, there have been calls for its removal.

However senior officials and the CIA says it’s been nothing but a good thing, as they finally have a version of Trump they can work with.

“He sits there patiently and attentively during security briefings just like all his predecessors would do.”

After some disastrous early briefings with President Trump in the flesh, they say everything is going much better since they starting briefing the oil painting version of Trump instead.

“We are convinced more information is getting through.”

Critics of this approach have argued that, being nothing more an inanimate depiction of Trump, the oil painting version will be unable to take action based on the briefings, leaving others to take up the slack.

“Not a problem, as that’s exactly what we’re after.”
