Outgoing White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham has indicated she will hold one first briefing later today before stepping down. Sources close to Grishman say doing so is very important to her.

“She wants to do it for nostalgia’s sake – and to see what giving one is like.”

Grishan also wants to meet with the members of the White House Press Pool one last time so she can introduce herself to them.

“I couldn’t forgive myself if I didn’t say a fond farewell to all those fine people I am about to get to know later on today.”

She adds that she is hoping to find a comparable job in the private sector.

“Something that pays well with a list of job duties that is zero characters long would be ideal.”
