(Las Vegas, NV) After the way the second debate went down, organizers realized the usual moderators drawn from the news media are insufficient for the ugly conflict that this year’s Presidential contest has become.

For the third debate between Democratic nominee Hilary Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump they are looking instead to the world of full contact sports.

“Fortunately we have in the NFL a set of professional referees used to policing bruising encounters.”

In addition to ensuring the candidates don’t speak beyond their allotted time, the official NFL referees will be on the lookout for physically inappropriate behavior such as skulking, looming, lurking, and late hits.
