Tomlin To Coach Game In Ejector Seat To Hasten Dismissal If Steelers Lose

Saying he wasn’t happy about it but he’ll go along with the Rooneys’ wishes, Mike Tomlin has agreed to coach tonight’s game against Tampa Bay from an ejector chair on the sidelines.

“I guess this means I’m out if we blow it again.”

A disappointing start for the Steelers has left Tomlin vulnerable, though he didn’t realize how much until he saw the F-15 pilot’s chair waiting for him on Heinz Field.

“They said I can either try to deploy the parachute, or hope I land in the river. Or win. We could always just try winning.”

The season has been dogged by trouble in the locker room from Antonio Brown, and the specter of Le’Veon Bell hanging over everything.

“How about we try ejecting one of those guys from the franchise and see if things improve.”
