Trump Calls Putin With Offer To Throw Paper Towels At Siberian Wildfires

The White House has confirmed Presidnet Trump initiated yet another call to Vladimir Putin, after the fact of that call was released by a Russian Government twitter feed.

White House officials said there was no intent to hide the call, and they were just about to release details of it when it became public knowledge.

The purpose of the call was to offer help to Russia with its Siberian wildfires, and President Trump suggested his standard disaster protocol of turning up to throw paper towels in front of the press.

The Russian leader reportedly refused the offer, giving the U.S. President a rudimentary explanation of how combustion works, including how introducing paper products would actually make things worse.

Putin concluded the call by asking Trump to pass on his warmest regards to his good friend Moscow Mitch.
