With a second scheduled trip to the United Kingdom scheduled for later this year, President Trump today canceled it after discovering some disturbing facts about his would-be hosts.
The abrupt cancellation occurred after Trump asked an aide who the United States gained independence from, and was shocked to learn it wasn’t Mexico as he had assumed.
“I will not legitimize our enemies with bilateral meetings.”
Instead, Trump plans to skip meeting the Queen and Prime Minister Theresa May and use the time for a one-on-one meeting with Russian Premier Vladimir Putin.
“I prefer meeting with leaders of countries we’ve not had a dispute with.”
He is also looking forward to another summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, whom Trump has described as a historically great friend of the United States according to political observers.
“Obviously, despite his round-the-clock cable TV consumption, this President has never watched M.A.S.H.”
