President Trump issued a rare rebuke to his supporters today, saying they need to do better.
“The audience at my campaign rally in Washington DC on Tuesday night was disappointing. So disappointing!”
Trump said he had given everything during a barnstorming evening of getting his political message out, but the crowd had fallen short.
“I delivered a big beautiful speech with plenty of red meat. But half of you didn’t even clap. So wrong!”
Trump was also extremely unhappy at the lack of MAGA hats in the room.
“And the signs? Where were the signs?”
Still, he said we was able to take solace from some things that happened.
“When half of you started chanting ‘Four More Years’ – that was nice.”
