A furious President Trump has demanded via tweet that a full federal investigation followed by ‘severe’ sanctions be launched into a satirical television show he saw last weekend.
Called “That Was The Week That Was”, Trump said the show ‘mocks political leaders and seeks to undermine America and its way of life’. He added he would not stand idly by in the face of such a threat.
“This show, and its presenter Henry Morgan, will not go unpunished.”
Trump came across the show on ‘one of those high-numbered channels’ when searching for the Jeanine Pirro show on Fox News, which he was having difficulty finding.
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said the President has ordered the FCC to find a way to halt production on the ‘despicable show’.
