The 2018 State of the Union address had huge, if not record-breaking, viewership numbers, which is being very well received at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
“He hasn’t yelled once since he gave it. Well, only about ten times. That’s how happy he is.”
President Trump is so pleased with how it went that he’s reportedly decided to switch to giving a weekly address on the State of the Union.
The White House has already officially told Congress to make themselves available every Tuesday evening from now on.
“And possibly also on Saturday nights too starting at 11.30pm.”
While the announcement was met with shock in many quarters, those who have followed Trump all along say it doesn’t surprise them.
“Remember this is the President who kept holding election rallies even after he’d won. And after he took office. He’s probably holding one right now.”
