President Trump’s isolated and despondent mood has improved markedly according to White House insiders, who say it’s connected to a development in Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller’s investigation that Trump recently became aware of.
“Just learned Mueller investigation is focusing on the President of Guam. Nice!”
Ever since, Trump has been much calmer and upbeat, and is looking forward to making progress on a number of initiatives.
“Send the lawyers home. Bob Mueller is a great guy. Wishing him well!”
Now that it no longer makes him so angry, Trump has even taken interest in the body of evidence Mueller is putting together.
“Great case! President of Guam doesn’t stand a chance. Failing bigly!”
