Trump Says Department Of Education To Investigate Use Of Facts In Schools

President Trump has ordered the Department of Education to conduct an urgent review of the curriculum being taught in public schools after recently becoming aware that it has a strong focus on facts.

“Teaching these ‘facts’ is nothing more than a ploy by the radical left to describe reality as it really is.”

He also decried the terrible imbalance whereby the present curriculum is so overladen with facts that there is little room leftover for teaching alternative facts.

“What if a child or their parents don’t like the facts being taught? Alternative facts are the perfect solution but they are not being used nearly enough!”

He expressed full confidence in his education secretary, Betsy DeVos, to carry out a thorough investigation and rectify the problem.

“I can think of no-one who is better suited to handle this facts crisis in our schools without being tainted by knowing any – other than yours truly, obviously.”
