President Trump has announced an end to what he called a bigoted and unfair travel ban against elephants entering the United States put in place by his predecessor.

“Obama banned them from entering our great country purely based on their species instead of restricting travel from specific countries. So wrong!”

With the ban now lifted, Trump says elephants will now be free to realize their dreams of leaving Africa and emigrating to the United States.

“Thanks to me these majestic creatures will be able to come here and take up the positions of prominence in our society that they aspire to, like above the fireplace.”

Trump says he has also rescinded Obama’s racist travel ban directed against lions, which he says was probably based on one bad lion attacking the ex-President while he was growing up in Kenya.

“There will be no quotas on how many lions can come here imposed by me. #NotAllLions”
