President Trump has announced he will regrettably not be able to attend the White House Correspondents Dinner this year.
The White House said the President was very keen to be present, but has been prevented by an old bonespur that has flared up again.
“He’s really bummed because it hasn’t given him any trouble other than the entire period from his eighteenth birthday through the 15th August 1973, and a brief recurrence this time last year.”
The diagnosis was made by his physician, Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson, who said despite being the healthiest American ever the bonespur will prevent Trump from attending the annual media event known for roasting the chief executive. It does not, however, prevent him from playing golf.
“If anything playing golf appears to reduce the symptoms, which is why I’ve prescribed even more of it.”
