The White House took action today against the so-called ‘girther movement’, comprised of people who don’t believe Trump’s reported weight of 239 lbs is correct.

“We do not want the girthers gaining credibility which is why we are being fully transparent about the process used.”

The scale used to actually weigh the President uses kilos – the preferred unit in scientific circles – so that number had to be converted to pounds, the imperial unit of measurement more familiar to Americans.

“In order to ensure the conversion was done correctly, we asked none other than Betsy DeVos herself to perform the relevant calculations.”

Trump said he was very satisfied with his Secretary of Education’s performance under pressure.

“She came up with numbers. The best numbers.”
