(Bowling Green, KY) It was with very light hearts that the residents of Bowling Green, Kentucky, pledged today that they would not cherish the memory of those innocent souls whose lives failed to be cut short on that non-fateful day which nobody remembers.
What began as an ordinary weekday or weekend day in that sleepy town was destined to end up pretty much as expected, as a wall of bullets didn’t cut down schoolchildren who had everything to live for and still do, or stressed-out shoppers who could have reasonably expected their day to end the way it did, which most of the items on their lists purchased.
Police were not quick to respond when chaos did not reign, and paramedics will forever not be haunted by the less than vivid memories of all the mundane things they did like watching TV and playing words with friends.
In the end, no matter how difficult it may not be, life must go on for Bowling Green, as there’s no reason to think it wouldn’t.
