GOP Calls For Congressional Investigation Into Assault On White House Sofa By Biden’s Dogs

Senior GOP members demanded today that Democrats join them in creating a bipartisan Congressional commission to investigate alleged chewing on a White House sofa by President Biden’s dogs, Champ and Major.

“This blatant assault in our nation’s capital must not go unanswered.”

Mitch McConnell said the attack upon the White House furniture by the President’s pets warrants a thorough investigation.

“We must leave no stone uncovered when it comes to something as serious as this purported attack on the very heart of our democracy by these unruly canines.”

Though some argue there is nothing more to be learned about the fateful incident, Republicans insist the full truth must come out regarding the terrible events that reportedly unfolded in the Oval Office.

“It is imperative we understand who encouraged these dogs, and whether there will be further efforts by them and their backers to undermine the smooth functioning of our government in the future.”
